T. DYLAN OXFORD has been a front-line director since 2012 but is relatively new to the Sweet Adelines world after joining Georgia Sensation in 2017 as Director. A 29-year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), Dylan has taken on most of the musical leadership roles that BHS has to offer. He won District Quartet Champion pins singing three different voice parts (perhaps the elusive bass pin is still in the cards), culminating in three international bronze medals as a tenor with State Line Grocery. As a coach and certified music judge for BHS, he has traveled the world providing instruction in Australia, Germany, Canada, and all over the United States. He has played piano for 40 years, which has honed his skills as an arranger and tag master—that unique barbershop addiction of teaching cool song parts anywhere, anytime, to anyone! An Atlanta native and Georgia Tech graduate, Dylan works as a mechanical engineer designing a full range of satellite communication antennas (no, he can’t get you free cable) and is always finding new hobbies from finance to photography. He considers himself fortunate to have found his wife, Michelle, who has supported this craziness since 2003—after all, he proposed to her with a song. They have one teenage daughter, Emma.
